Everett Koop has asked her on occasion to substitute for him in AIDS celebrations and she's hosted an AIDS Awareness Special together with news anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice on Nightline on AIDS. Morgan received the Emmy nomination for her special episode of Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. In spring, she co-starred alongside Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. Then, she began the summer season by appearing in Murder At The PTA Luncheon created by Von Zeerneck/Sertner. Also, it had Cindy Williams and Marla gibbs. Morgan's next production sent Morgan to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady which also starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also starred exclusively in the psychological thriller of USA Network that earned some of most impressive ratings they have ever had.
